We are incredibly proud and happy to have received funding from the Globus Fund for an innovative engagement and capacity-building project in India. The project focuses on developing competencies and skills within the electric vehicle sector in India. The first step is a fact-finding mission with a partner group consisting of Mentor to Impact, CELF, the Metal Industry’s Education Committee, and NI-MSME (National Institute for Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises).
The project will run for a year and a half and will include exchange activities, engagement, dialogue, and the development of concrete skills in collaboration with our Indian partner school. Through this project, we place students, teachers, and professional competencies at the heart of the green transition.
At the same time, the project highlights the value of international collaboration in developing the green skills of the future. We are bridging the gap between India’s growing industry and Denmark’s strong position in education and training in green technologies—bringing young people together across cultures and borders while educators and trainers learn from each other. Additionally, industry clusters, businesses, and authorities are involved to ensure that the competencies developed align with employers’ needs.
The Globus Fund is financed by the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs. We look forward to sharing our work.
