We are happy to announce that on 19 January 2026, Mentor to Impact signed a Memorandum of Understanding with Bharat Technology and Impact Accelerator (Bharatia), marking the start of a strategic collaboration focused on skills, capacity building, and delivering economic and just impact.
Bharatia is a green accelerator foundation working to design and scale first-of-a-kind (FOAK) projects across environment and sustainability sectors in India and the Global South. The foundation funds and implements innovative projects and mobilises partnerships and investment to maximise impact.
Through this partnership, Mentor to Impact and Bharatia will jointly develop fit-for-purpose, project-embedded skills frameworks that link skills creation directly to sectoral investments, workforce demand, and local implementation needs.
Key elements of the MoU include:
- Modular, scalable, and industry-aligned curricula
- Sector-specific skills frameworks across mobility, energy, water, agriculture, waste, construction, and related sectors
- Train-the-trainer models to enable localisation and scale
- Co-developed certification pathways recognised by industry
- A shared ambition to build a credible and portable Global South skills programme
This collaboration will bring skills development closer to practical application – embedding learning directly into projects, rather than treating it as a separate add-on.
Together, we aim to accelerate the energy transition, keeping people at the centre to support a just and inclusive transition towards a better and greener world.
